This year’s EVAS welcome drink was created by our Drinks Partner, No 186 Gin.

It went down a treat with our guests and we’ve had lots of requests on how they can recreate it at home.

First, a little bit about the gin that was used! The Wonky Duck Gin is Coronation Street’s Gin. It was named after the iconic landlady Hilda Ogden and was created by No.186 Gin in collaboration with the show. 

The Wonky Duck is a unique gin that is distilled with the classic Manchester eccles cake. Bursting with tangy currants, orange zest, cinnamon and sweetened every so slightly with natural Manchester honey. You can buy this on the

50ml Wonky Duck Gin

50ml Lemon Juice

Top with Fever Tree Ginger Ale

Serve over Ice with a Slice of Fresh Orange
