Visit Blackpool

Blackpool is delighted to once again welcome the Enterprise Vision Awards back to the Winter Gardens.  We hope while you’re in resort you’ll be able to find the time to visit some of our world famous attractions.  The resort has seen some huge investment projects come to fruition over the last 12 months and we hope you get to see how the resort has changed in recent years.

With an abundance of award-winning attractions, six miles of sandy beach, a huge selection of accommodation and an exciting annual programme of free events for all the family to enjoy! Blackpool really does have something for everybody!  Whether your visit is for business or pleasure, with family or work colleagues we hope you will see the changes now shaping Blackpool.

Rain or shine, there’s always something to entertain you.

Take a trip to the world famous Blackpool Tower, one of the most loved and recognisable landmarks in the world and home to the stunning Blackpool Tower Ballroom, enjoy a lovely afternoon tea of finger sandwiches and pastries along with a lovely cup of tea, For those looking for a little extra treat try a glass of something cold and sparkling amid the grandeur of the beautiful Ballroom.  The Blackpool Tower Circus, The Blackpool Tower Eye and The Blackpool Tower Dungeons are all under the same roof and ready to welcome guest daily.

Thrill-seekers can enjoy the thrills and spills of the white knuckle rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach or enjoy the thrills of a bygone era on one of the oldest amusement rides in Europe, Sir Hiram Maxim’s Captive Flying Machines.

Those looking for an animal-packed adventure can visit Blackpool Zoo, or take a swim with the sharks at SEA LIFE Blackpool.  Alternatively if mingling with royalty or the stars of stage and screen is more your thing take a trip Madame Tussauds, the largest Madame Tussauds outside of London!  If you’re looking for something a little more chilled out following a hectic evening at the awards take a trip to Sandcastle Waterpark and lounge on a kabana by the water’s edge in an 84-degree sub-tropical paradise.

The world-famous Blackpool Illuminations need little introduction. With six miles of traditional festoons, tableaux and interactive features along the Promenade, no wonder it’s commonly known as the greatest free light show on Earth!  Blackpool’s annual Illuminations display shines nightly from the beginning of September.  This year due to popular demand the Illuminations will shine right through the festive season until the 5th January 2025.

To complement the Illuminations Christmas By The Sea will once again be taking place on the Tower Festival Headland, the Christmas village will again include a free-to-use skating rink, festive light installations and projection shows, themed log cabins selling festive treats and artisan gifts, artificial snowfalls and children’s attractions.

Since the 1800’s Blackpool has been Britain’s most popular seaside resort with family entertainment at the very heart, the resort is synonymous with fun filled action packed adventures for all the family.  2024 is shaping up to be one of the best years yet with a diary packed full of fun and promise for all to enjoy, never a destination to stand still Blackpool’s latest attraction, Showtown opened earlier this year.  Blackpool’s new £13m museum aims to celebrate Blackpool’s story as the UK’s most popular seaside destination, along with its role in the development of British popular culture.  Open year-round, the new museum is a fun, filled immersive experience, filled with objects, film, music and performance – mixing the best experiences of museums and visitor entertainment.
