Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
The Enterprise Vision Awards are fully committed to combatting slavery and human trafficking in our business operations, relationships and supply chains. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are dedicated to ensuring that our practices and policies promote fair and ethical treatment of all individuals involved in our business, including employees, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
As responsible businesses, we recognise the importance of maintaining high ethical standards and respect for human rights. We are committed to acting with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. This includes implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to prevent slavery, human trafficking, and forced labour in our supply chains.
We ensure that all employees, contractors, and suppliers are treated fairly and with respect. Our practices include:
- We comply with all applicable employment laws and standards, ensuring that all workers are of legal working age and are employed under conditions that respect their rights.
- We conduct thorough due diligence when selecting and working with suppliers to ensure they comply with our anti-slavery policy. We expect our suppliers to hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.
- We ensure all employees receive fair wages, in accordance with applicable national laws and standards. We are committed to creating a workplace where all employees are treated with dignity and respect.
We understand that modern slavery risks can exist in supply chains, particularly where goods and services are sourced from countries with weaker labour protections. To mitigate these risks, we:
- Evaluate potential risks in our supply chains.
- Communicate our expectations to suppliers, ensuring they understand and adhere to our anti-slavery policy.
- Work with suppliers who demonstrate ethical labour practices and operate transparently.
We provide training to ensure that all employees and key stakeholders are aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking. This training helps staff to:
- Recognise signs of slavery and human trafficking.
- Understand the steps to take if they suspect any form of modern slavery within our operations or supply chain.
We encourage all employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders to report any concerns related to modern slavery or human trafficking. We are committed to investigating all reports thoroughly and taking appropriate action where necessary.
We regularly review and update our anti-slavery policy to ensure it remains effective in preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chains.
We are committed to ethical business practices and expect all individuals and organisations we work with to share our commitment and to act with integrity. Together, we aim to eradicate modern slavery and promote fair and just treatment for all.
