At the ceremony, Finalists are front and centre, with their names proudly displayed on stage and in the program. And if you’re fortunate enough to be a Winner, you’ll take to the stage to receive your award and deliver a short acceptance speech – streamed live around the world for all to see!

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. The event offers plenty of PR opportunities to promote your brand, with guests connected to TV, radio, magazines, and the press in attendance. Prepare to be dazzled as the ceremony unfolds in the iconic Empress Ballroom at The Winter Gardens in Blackpool. Join over guests from across the UK as we come together to celebrate the power of female entrepreneurship.

Doors open at 6pm, where you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink to kick off the festivities. The Empress Ballroom is a sight to behold, providing countless opportunities for stunning photographs. Getting to the EVAS

Don’t forget that the Blackpool Illuminations will be on during the EVAS. This means that traffic will be heavier than usual so add extra time to your journey.

We aim to complete the presentation of the awards by 11pm but this may run over slightly. If you are coming by train or are parking in a local car park, please bear this in mind.

By Train – The closest train station is Blackpool North. Taxis are available at the station but there may be a delay if there are a lot of people arriving at the same time. It is a 10 min walk to the Winter Gardens.

By Tram – If you are staying locally, take the tram to Blackpool Tower. It’s a 3 min walk to the venue.

By Car and Parking – If you’re coming via the motorway, exit the M55 at junction 4, follow A583 into central Blackpool or for sat nav – postcode FY1 1HW.

Central Blackpool has a one-way system and pedestrianised areas.

There are a number of large car-parks close to the Winter Gardens. Open air parking is available on the corner of Adelaide Street and Alfred Street – FY1 4LA. West Street Car Park – FY1 1HA closes 00:30am. Please note – Houndshill Shopping Centre closes at 11:30pm. Limited metered street-parking is also available close-by.

Taxis may drop off outside the Church Street entrance to the Winter Gardens subject to traffic restrictions. If you are organising a taxi to come to the EVAS  please ensure you book your cab as it will be a busy time. We have heard of up to 1hr waiting. Maybe consider sharing a taxi or arranging a minibus to reduce costs and carbon emissions.
