Mini Minds Matter | Inclusive Events Partner
Mini Minds Matter UK is a dinosaur themed mindfulness programme, aiming to help nurseries and primary schools create calmer, happier, and more emotionally resilient children. Created by an Early Years Specialist and a qualified Paediatrics Nurse specialising in Neurology, the approach is tailored to support long-term positive mental health.
Our approach is backed by neuroscience and helps to support:
- Parent partnerships with every setting
- Inclusive learning for every child
- Reduced emotional outburst and setting avoidance
- Reduced pressure on staff for wellbeing planning and activities
- Children’s understanding of their emotional world.
We equip children with an emotional toolkit for life, helping them to understand and name emotions whilst building an understanding of their brain and inner world – all through the use of our Mini Minds Dinosaurs!
Each month represents a different dinosaur who helps us to learn and grow. We have Helpfulasaurus, Kindasaurus, Calmasaurus and Friendlyasaurus and eight other dinosaurs to teach emotional skills in a child friendly way.
Meet the minds behind Mini Minds
Mini Minds Matter UK was founded by Julie Robinson, an Early Years Specialist with more than 25 years’ experience in education. Passionate about children’s mental health, Julie created Mini Minds to support young minds early and help prevent longer-term emotional struggles.
Three years later, following the success of the company, her daughter Charlotte joined the team, bringing her own expertise as a qualified teacher. Today, Charlotte is the main point of contact for Mini Minds members and creates the resources and calendars used each month by their partners.
She also edits and illustrates the Mini Minds books, putting her bachelor’s degree in English Literature to very good use!
Inclusive Events Partner
Championing accessibility and young talent Support Eva, our talented young signer, helping make EVAS accessible to members of the deaf community.
This partnership demonstrates your commitment to inclusion while supporting a young person using her talent to inspire others. Eva will create a personalised signed thank you video for your organisation, shared across EVAS social media channels.
