The UK’s largest celebration of women in business!
Testimonials – In their Own Words
Your Words, Our Why
Every year, the EVAS leave a mark that lasts long after the lights fade and the glitter settles. We’ve captured the words of our guests, finalists, winners, sponsors, and supporters, who shared their experiences in real time.
In their own words, you can feel the emotion, see the pride, and sense the electric atmosphere that fills the Empress Ballroom. This is the heartbeat of The EVAS; authentic stories, raw reactions, and a community united by ambition, recognition, and celebration.
So take a moment to relive it the laughter, the tears, the standing ovations. And then, make sure you save the date for EVAS2026 on Friday 2 October.
Because when The Empress Ballroom at The Winter Gardens, Blackpool comes alive, it’s not just another awards night, it’s a movement. You’ll be surrounded by female founders of household brands, artisan businesses, start-ups and scale-ups, alongside decision makers, media, and allies who champion women in business.
Join us, feel it for yourself, and be part of the story next year.
“What a mad brilliant night at Winter Gardens in Blackpool at EVAS awards. So honoured to be finalist in Business woman category and Outstanding Achievement award.
Was truly inspiring and strictly incredible evening!”
“WOW.. What. A. NIGHT 🪩💃🏻 We were honoured to be recognised among so many incredible women in business across the UK, we danced like never before, owning our power and celebrating our success. Only 2 years into this journey, we’re up for 5 national awards this year alone and it’s a real moment of reflection to see the women we’ve become. Proud doesn’t cut it, so grateful 🫶🏼 Shout out to all the inspiring women we spoke with and to the badass queens who owned the dance floor! Massive congratulations to all finalists and winners ✨ I didn’t even capture half of the memories made in this reel but it sure shows that no one does it like the EVAS 🥂.“
“What a night at the Enterprise Vision Awards 2025! ✨ On Friday, Team Trident was proud to sponsor the Business Woman of the Year award, a powerful celebration of innovation, leadership, and resilience in the business world. A huge congratulations to Julianne Ponan, this year’s winner! Your story and impact is nothing short of inspiring.
We also want to applaud every finalist and category winner across the evening. The energy in that room was electric, a reminder that the future of business is brighter (and more balanced) when we champion diverse voices. Grateful to be part of a night that celebrates real achievement and the people driving change across every sector.“
What a night at the EVAs awards at the Winter Gardens! ✨
On Friday I made the 24-hour round trip from Bristol (9 hours of driving in total!) with my friend Sarah Epsom (we actually met at the EVAs House of Commons event back in June!) and it was so worth it. As a solo founder, it’s been a long time since I haven’t gone to an event alone, and it was really lovely to share the journey and the evening with Sarah 🥂
The event itself was incredible 🪩🕺 I got to catch up with some familiar faces (Lorraine Thomas Louise Stephenson Danielle Seatter Sarah Johnson) and also meet new ones, including two of my judges, Christine Nichols and David Blakeney. Both were so kind, shared how tough the judging process had been, and gave me such lovely compliments about Avo Activewear which really meant a lot.
Although I didn’t take home the Retail Award, I honestly felt so proud to be there as a finalist, celebrating everything I’ve achieved with Avo. Being surrounded by so many inspiring women and businesses was a win in itself! Huge congratulations to all the winners & other finalists and especially to my friend Sarah who won the Creative Industry Award 🏆 She truly deserved it, and it couldn’t have come at a better time for her. A fabulous night of celebration, connection, and inspiration and a reminder of how far we’ve come.
What an incredible Friday night at the Winter Gardens.
Being an Enterprise Vision Awards judge has got to be one of the hardest jobs !!!! Every finalist brought their absolute best and deserved recognition. Not just great businesses but many have overcome huge challenges to succeed.💪🏾
Hats off to every finalist and winner… they all deserve the spotlight 🙌🏽
It’s more than awards; it’s a nod to the power and grit behind great business. 🎉🎉🎉
One of the reasons I entered the Enterprise Vision Awards is their support of women juggling so many balls, along with their mission of inspiring the next generation of female business owners.
Many of us are mothers as well as entrepreneurs and business owners. Most awards evenings are not particularly welcome of (older) children, but the EVAS are different. Yesterday was Harriet’s (the Hetty of Hetty and Betty) birthday. We spent the day at Blackpool zoo, and then we put on our posh frocks for the evening at the #EVAS2025. When I went up to collect our award she came to the stage with me. I told everyone it was her birthday, and this what almost 600 people singing happy birthday to one very happy little girl sounds like!
What an amazing night at the Enterprise Vision Awards with Del Parsons and guests 💕 The room was full of inspirational women from across the UK who are building businesses, raising families, being career women, friends, sisters, role models… the list is endless 🤍
The EVAs are such an emotional reminder of what we can achieve. Every year I watch the awards and cry the whole way through 😭 because I’m so moved by people’s stories! 💖 Thank you Del for inviting me – It was such a pleasure to join you 🩷 And amazing to see so many lovely faces…”
WHAT A NIGHT…THE EVAs 2025
you were a blast. A room filled with inspiration and support. Championing women in business.
Congratulations to all the fabulous finalist and winners. A high calibre of talent, sheer determination and business acumen across the board. ✨️🏆
Well done to the Enterprise Vision Awards team on another very sucessful awards event 👏🏼 🎊
What a night at the Enterprise Vision Awards ✨ Out of HUNDREDS of nominations, Laura reaching the finalist stage was a huge achievement. To see her recognised for her impact and leadership was something to celebrate.
The trophy may have gone elsewhere, but Laura is a winner. She’s winning daily. The recognition, the atmosphere, and the company made it a night to remember. The room was buzzing with some of the most inspiring women in business you could hope to meet. To be part of that 🤯, to celebrate alongside them, and to share the energy of the night was an honour.
And our table? The best people. The best energy. The kind of night that leaves you walking away proud, motivated, and even more excited for what’s next.
I am absolutely blown away to be writing that last night I won young entrepreneur of the year at the EVAS 2025 awards. I am so incredibly grateful for all the support from our community which has allowed me to be in spaces like this. It enables me to create so much awareness for the visually impaired community and helping inspire others to follow their dreams.
Only 27% of blind people are in employment in the UK and there isn’t even a statistic to represent the self employed entrepreneurial women who are registered blind. Everything I do, I do to inspire and motivate others to be unapologetically them! Be you and be proud 🩷
But… The reason I believed my sight loss wasn’t a loss to everything else was because of my partner in crime Victoria. She may not be a “young” entrepreneur but she’s a bloody good one and we both play vital parts in running and progressing Wanted Wardrobe ❤️🙏
Well done to all the winners, and finalists at last night’s Enterprise Vision Awards. A superb night celebrating women in business, achievement, creativity, and inspiration.
There were so many beautiful dresses and outfits 😍 everyone looked amazing, and the energy in the room was so uplifting.
The whole event was superb and beautifully put together, for start to finish (for me) a great night.
WHAT. A. NIGHT.
Still on cloud nine after Spark Creatives and myself was named Hospitality Business of the Year at the Enterprise Vision Awards 2025!
The incredible Coral Horn and her team created such a magical atmosphere at the stunning Winter Gardens – it was a night to remember. I felt truly humbled to be in a room filled with inspiring female founders, finalists, and winners.
Celebrating this milestone surrounded by my bigest supporters made it all the more special – my Mum and Sister, who’ve had my back from day one, and nine of my fiercest, most fabulous friends. Even Phil and Spike tuned in on the live stream, and hearing their reactions in real time was priceless.
Huge congratulations to all the incredible businesses nominated for awards at the Enterprise Vision Awards 👏 👏 👏 I found myself wanting to know so much more about every single one of them. They are all winners really!
Setting up businesses is hard – keeping it going it REALLY hard – and behind every purpose and mission-led business is a story and very special and talented people.
Which brings me to these two – Julianna Woods and Katie Summers. What they’ve achieved with The Mellowpatch Company in just 2 years is incredible and they were well deserved winners of the Retail Business Award this year.
Amazing to get to celebrate and to have been a part of their journey this last year! What a magical venue too – thank you The Winter Gardens!
What a brilliant night at the Enterprise Vision Awards last night! 🙌 A room full of passionate people, inspiring stories and genuine camaraderie. Plus the Winter Gardens in Blackpool is such a gorgeous venue 😍
While I got to collect the award, scaling a business is a team sport. And the incredible team at Mazuma , who not only work so hard, but also have to put up with me, are the ones that really deserve the plaudits. Congratulations to each and every finalist. You’re all doing incredible things. 🤩
Wow! What an incredible night at the EVA’s. It was so inspiring and uplifting to be part of this celebration of women in business.
It was an honour to be a finalist amongst these amazing business owners and trail blazers. Just a fantastic event to be a part of.
So proud to be representing Nicholls Solicitors last night. Thanks to David Buxton for joining me and being an exceptional dance partner!!
