Established in 2004 by founder Dave Rees, Vanliners began as a small, one-man operation driven by a clear vision to provide high-quality, practical vehicle conversion solutions for working businesses. With a strong background in the commercial vehicle industry and a focus on craftsmanship, Dave set out to build a company that prioritised reliability, attention to detail, and real-world functionality over mass production.
Starting from modest beginnings, Vanliners quickly gained a reputation for delivering dependable lining kits and racking solutions that were built to last. As demand grew, so did the scope of the business. What began as a small workshop operation steadily evolved into a full-service conversion specialist, expanding into bespoke builds, fleet solutions, accessories, and specialist vehicle bodies.

As the business expanded, Vanliners invested heavily in its infrastructure, processes, and people, enabling us to scale production while maintaining high standards across every vehicle that leaves our facility.
Today, that growth has culminated in the development of our “Centre of Excellence” in Hindley Green, Wigan, a purpose-built facility designed to support high-volume production, specialist conversions, and fleet projects all under one roof. This investment allows us to efficiently manage complex contracts while maintaining the quality and consistency Vanliners is known for.
