Bringing our Winners and Sponsors Back Together

The Winners Party is a great opportunity to catch up with news and build relationships with fellow winners and sponsors.

The night of the awards ceremony goes by so quickly, especially for the winners. So, when we brought everyone back together, connections were made, conversation flowed, and opportunities and collaborations were explored.

Even the torrential rain didn’t dampen the spirits – one umbrella was destroyed by the wind and thankfully the radiators helped soaked guests to dry clothes! We’re talking soaked through!

Boost; Lancashire’s Growth Hub supported the EVAS Interview process and hosted the Winners Party at County Hall in Preston, the home of Lancashire County Council. They led a roundtable discussion with the Lancashire Winners and Councillor Aidy Riggott and the team from Boost. A number of topics were discussed including learning what winning meant to these Lancashire entrepreneurs and the type of support and services that they are looking for to build their business.

There was a lot of excitement as the winners shared their shock at winning and joy that their win had brought to families, friends, colleagues and customers. Tips, introductions, shared connections and future meetings were made to get to know each other better and follow potential leads to do business together.

If you are looking for a venue in the centre of Preston, we’d highly recommend County Hall. The facilities were excellent and the location is ideal for train, car and public transport.
