No. 186 Gin is named after and served in their bar in Deansgate in Manchester City Centre – the bar relaunches at the beginning of December.

Run by husband and wife, Matt and Lynsey Postlethwaite, they created this premium craft gin range after a health scare in 2013. Matt was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and subsequently had to reduce his sugar intake. Making lots of changes to his diet and lifestyle, they both became passionate about creating their very own gin. Lots of studying, tasting and comparing, led them to making their own premium gin range crafted from high quality locally sourced ingredients. It contains no added sugar so that Matt, and everyone else can enjoy the gin experience without worrying about sugar levels.

Following the popularity of the gin throughout Manchester, their home town of Lytham St Annes and local surrounding areas, Matt and Lynsey, along with the team behind One Eight Six, are excited to now be sharing their creation with gin lovers across the UK – pouring the Spirit of the North into every glass, wherever it’s served.
