Finalists are expected to attend an online interview and attend the awards ceremony.

If you are entering the EVAS you will need to ensure that you will be available to attend the Interviews and of course the Awards Ceremony.  Make sure your applications are completed before nominations close so that you do not miss out. You will be able to see when the finalists are announced. All finalists will then be invited to attend an online interview with our Judging Panel – this is an opportunity to sell your story to the Judges – remember that if you have reached the finals, you are already one of their favourites.

Finalists are invited to attend various networking event where there are opportunities to promote your business and meet fellow Finalists, Sponsors and Partners and previous Winners.

After the Interviews, there is a period when Voting opens for all the EVA finalists. All categories will be included in the public vote, however votes will only be added to the score awarded by the judging panel to decide a winner in the event of a tie-break or a 2% margin between the Judge’s scores. This is a fabulous marketing tool for your business as the campaign drives traffic to your website, social media and expands awareness of your brand.

Please note that voting is an opportunity for every Finalist to use social media to shout about their business. The result may not be relative to your category but you can still use the opportunity to market your business.

Finally, it’s time to plan your EVAS evening. The awards ceremony is a dazzling night to remember! Attending the awards is essential and is part of the awards process. It is a ticketed event, and all finalists are required to purchase a ticket.

Your ticket includes entry to the EVAS2026 Awards Ceremony, a Welcome Drinks Reception, 3 Course Dinner with wine (or alcohol free alternative), entertainment, After Party.

Remember, there are more sequins than Strictly at the EVAS and it’s an opportunity to dress up and shine the spotlight on you and your business. Business leaders, decision makers, powerhouses and celebrities join us in a spectacular celebration of the successes and achievements of the UK’s most talented female entrepreneurs.

After the big night, we have a Celebration of Excellence where Winners, Finalists, Sponsors and Partners and Judges will continue to explore collaborations and build strong relationships.

      Your Finalist Interview

      Why it matters

The interview is where your story comes to life. It gives our judges a chance to meet you, ask thoughtful questions and understand the impact behind your entry. Many finalists say this is their favourite part of the journey.

      What to expect

      • A friendly online 20 minute interview with a panel of three independent judges

      • A set time during judging week

      • A 5 minute presentation and questions linked to your category criteria

      Please save the date

If you decide to enter, please check the judging dates in advance and keep time free if you reach the finals. With more than 150 finalists and over 40 judges, each slot is carefully coordinated, so last minute changes can be tricky.

      If something unexpected happens

We know life throws curveballs. This year we’ll offer a limited mop up day.

      • You may meet a different panel

      • The interview will be recorded and shared with your original judges to score

      • You may miss the live back and forth with your assigned panel

Outside the judging window we can’t promise alternative dates, and we’re not able to rearrange for holidays or general diary clashes. Thanks for understanding and for respecting the time judges set aside.

      Accessibility and support

If you need any adjustments, let us know as soon as you’re confirmed as a finalist. We’ll do our best to help you shine.

Show up ready and be yourself. This is your moment.
